BilCraft® is extracted from European bilberries using an exclusive technology – Iprona Polyphenol Technology (IPT) – that extracts fruit gently without using any harsh chemical solvents. This produces a one-of-a-kind premium ingredient that retains important bioactive components that other extracts strip away.
IPT is a fully mechanical, chemical solvent-free ultra-filtration process for separating and enriching the active molecules found in bilberries. IPT complies with the most stringent quality standards and features specially designed membranes with different pore sizes that separate molecules based on their size.
